Easy steps to complete Udayam registration.

Steps in Udayam registration. Visit Udyam Registration. Choose register option, in case you are a new entrepreneur,  who didn't registered under MSME. Choose re-register option, in case you already registered as MSME. If you choose re-register option, it will show a coming soon. The following steps or guideline is all about register option(re-register can also try).

1. Enter Aadhaar Number and name of the Entrepreneur, as per Aadhaar card. Click validate&generate OTP. Even a slight change can bring a message pop up showing:-
1)There is error in Aadhaar Validation/Authentication.
Error Code: 998
2) Your Aadhaar has not been validated hence you cannot register Udyam.
3) Please Visit Your Nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.

2. Enter the OTP.

 

3. Choose the type of organization- propitiatory, HUF, partnership, Co-operative, Private limited company, Public limited company, Self help group, Limited Liability Partnership, Society, Trust or Others. Click yes for the question Do you have PAN? Enter your PAN number. Click Validate PAN.

 

Note:- If you don't a PAN card. kindly apply one. Unless you have a valid PAN and GSTIN, you can't complete the process.     

 

4. After validating PAN. It will load-

Your PAN has been successfully verified. Some fields of the form will be disabled. Disabled fields will be automatically filled after verification from PAN data. GSTIN is mandatory for Udyam Registration from 01.04.2021. You are advised to apply for GSTIN immediately and update on this website by 31.03.2021, so as to avoid suspension of Udyam Registration.

and things that are to be filled up manually or automated.

(a) Fill up ITR and GSTIN.

(b) Enter Mobile number and email.

(c) Choose social category- General/SC/ST/OBC.

(d) Choose gender- Male/Female/Others.

(e) Select specially abled or not yes or no.

(f) Enter name of the enterprise and plant/Unit name.

(g) Enter location of the plant(s)/ unit(s) has to filled only in case THE entrepreneur doesn't have  GSTIN.

NOTE-Point No.12 may be filled in on self-declaration basis, if there is no GSTIN; otherwise the information would be auto-filled from the GSTN. 

(h) Add official address of Enterprise.

(i) Previous EM-ll/ UAM register number. Choose N/A, in case new entrepreneur.

(h) Fill up the status of enterprise- data of incorporation/ registration, whether production/ business commenced. If yes, enter date of commencement.

(i) Enter Bank details.

(J) Select your type manufacturing or service.

(k) Fill up national industrial classification

(l)  Enter the number male/female/other staffs in your total organization.

(m) Point 20 and 21 will enable after verification of Udayam Registration from income tax.

Point 20 is about plant and machinery and Point 21 is about Turnover.

Note- Whether the enterprise belongs to micro, small or medium enterprises is determined by both value of investment in plant and machinery( except land and building and furniture fittings.) and turnover.

(n) point 22 and 23 is about Gem portal and TRDS portal. Chose if, you need.

(o) submit and get final OTP.
