Why Chicken 65 is called chicken 65?

The most conforming side for any non-veg lovers would be the Chicken 65. Chicken 65 with Biryani would be the most satisfying meal ever. But have you guessed anytime, why it is named chicken 65? This question was also asked in the famous television show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 1 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

But why it is so called?
Some say that there are 65 spices in it. Few say that a 65 days old chicken is sliced into pieces and fried. Less say that it demands 65 days to cook. Few also say that the chicken is cut into 6, and 5 of them are served. But which one is true?

If you live in Chennai, Hotel Buhari is very familiar to you. History tells that the owner of this restaurant has tried cooking biryani for 200 times to find the best mix of spices. Likewise, he has also tried many. On the New Year day of 1965, AM Buhari served a unique chicken recipe to one of its customers. But suddenly the customer asked for the name of the dish that was served. But unfortunately, he hasn't named it yet. Suddenly he replied as chicken 65 (as 1965 is just born) and thereby chicken 65 got originated.
If you been to Buhari you can also find Chicken 78, Chicken 82, Chicken 90 and many more.

Now it's your time to grab a chicken 65.
