Weak Rupee- Financial Glossary

We can say that Rupee is becoming weaker, when it actually loses its value. For example, let's say 1 dollar = 74.5 rupee as of now.  If you wanna buy a foreign asset costing let's say $50,000.  Then you have to pay a sum of Rs.32,50,000($50,000*74.5) to buy the said asset. However, if our country loses its value, then we have to pay an extra money for a single dollar. Say, 1 dollar = 123.4 rupee. Then you have to pay a sum of RS.46,58,35,000 for the same asset. It gradually affects our export and import, leading to our country to fall.
