 What is a W-8 Form? 

              W-8 form. Not every U.S. citizen might have come across the term.  But, every U.S. migrated person and foreign entities (based on Us law) should have. It is generally submitted by non-resident persons who do work and/or make income in the U.S. or by foreign business entities that make income in the U.S. The main aim of submitting the form is in order to claim exempt status from certain tax withholding.


There are different kinds of W-8 form. Such as

 :-)  W-8EN tax form, for brokers.

 :-)  W-8ECI tax form, for foreign entities to certify that all incomes are earned inside United States.

   :') W-8EXP tax form, for foreign governments, international organizations, banks of issue, tax-exempt organizations, private foundations, and governments of U.S. possessions.

    :-) W-8IMY tax form, foreign financial intermediaries.

     :-) W-8CE tax form, payer subject to special tax rules.
